● Well done to the team of Rob Daniel, Oliver

Sanders, Reece Andronik, Harry Stevens, Joe Beer

and Ollie Kenneally who won the first round of

the North Devon Junior league at Great

Torrington.  This is a great start to the season

and hope the team can keep their form going in

the away matches!

● Congratulations to Harry Stevens who has won

the 2013 Easter Shield with 41 points, runner up

was Reece Andronik with 39 points.

● The team have been drawn against Bigbury in round 1 of the Basil Steer Trophy.  This competition is the inter club county trophy for Junior teams, more details on the draw are available here:

● At this time of year we need to get parental

consent forms for each Junior signed off for 2012

, without these we can’t arrange coaching or

competitions for you so please complete these

and return to the club.  If you need a copy please

ask at the club or there is a link to the form on

the DCGU website

● The season long eclectic scratch (Coles Trophy)

and handicap (Stevenson Trophy) competitions

start again in February in which all the scores you

have on the front 9 holes in any of the Junior

competitions count towards creating your best

overall 9 holes, scores will be updated soon from

the first few competitions of the year and posted

to the noticeboard.
